Garry has been with Honda Red Deer since 1995, first as the Sales Manager then as the General Manager. He believes in cultivating relationships with customers, listening to their needs and surpassing their expectations because his goal is to provide his customers with a lifetime of vehicles. He values your trust with your best interest at heart as he wants you to return again and again knowing you can rely on him and his team. Every department and every employee are needed to make a business work, and as General Manager, he is well aware of this fact and appreciates the efforts of all the staff employed at the dealership.
 
Garry is highly regarded for his business and leadership abilities, formerly holding the office of President of the Red Deer Motor Dealers' Association for two years and was active in the community as part of the Piper Creek Optimist Club. Honda Canada has appointed Garry to the Advertising Committee for both Alberta and the Prairie Zone.
 
Many know of Garry's great sense of humor as well as his professional approach to selling automobiles. There is one trait many may be surprised at....his culinary skills. He's a wizard in the kitchen with numerous years of experience in the catering business. He is very family oriented and understand the true importance of surrounding himself with family and friends.

With twelve years of sales experience, Brandi took the leap into sales management by joining the Honda Red Deer team almost three years ago. Prior to moving here, she worked at Northgate Honda in Grand Prairie for five years. Her motto of "whatever it takes" to ensure customer satisfaction is why she is very successful at what she does. To her, purchasing a vehicle must be the best possible experience for our customers. When she isn't working Brandi's spare time is spent with her kids (ages 10, 12 and 15) who are avid motocross riders travelling throughout Alberta enjoying the sport that they love. If you ever have any concerns, Brandi is always available to answer your questions.

Doug Brown has been in the car business for a total of 22 years with 15 of them here at Honda Red Deer. He prides himself in complete customer care, which in turn shows in his customer's satisfaction. His years of vehicle knowledge has benefitted both his co-workers and vast clientelle. Now the Sales Manager, Doug brings his experience and dedication to a new level here at Honda Red Deer.

Barb Larsen moved to Red Deer nine years ago from Northern Manitoba. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as reading, travelling and walking her dog. Barb has won numerous awards for exceptional performance both as a sales and finance manager. Barb has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years and here at Honda Red Deer for nine of them. Barb is recognized as playing a fundamental role throughout the purchase experience at Honda Red Deer. Barb prides herself in helping the customers feel at home and to make their buying experience an enjoyable one.

John has been with Honda Red Deer for almost four years. He is happily married with two children. John has worn many different hats throughout his career including seventeen years of management as well as the roles of Nurse, Peace Officer, and Oil Field employee. John also enjoys numerous outdoor sports which he enjoys with his family. This makes it easy for John to talk with all types of Honda customers as he is always able to find something in common with them. John believes that the number one priority of any business is CUSTOMER SERVICE and he strives to achieve this with every customer he meets.

Amy Larsen is first and foremost a mother of two beautiful children. Prior to joining Honda Red Deer, Amy Larsen spent 3 years as assistant manager for a major men's clothing outlet and now applies her knowledge to the sales floor. A Certified Honda Sales Consultant, Amy was also recognized as a winner in the Honda Canada National Civic Presentation Contest. Being one of the only women on our sales team, Amy brings a female perspective to the automotive industry. Amy's customers appreciate her caring, relaxed sales approach which makes for a comfortable environment. It is her personal goal to gain customers for life.

Arthur (Art) Ellis has lived and worked in Central Alberta for many years now. He joined Honda Red Deer in January 2007. Previous to his start at Honda Red Deer, Art worked as a sales consultant with Chrysler for fourteen years. He comes from a farm background and also has his automotive and heavy duty mechanic tickets. Art believes in serving customers needs and building solid relationships one detail at a time. He is always willing to go the extra mile for all his clients.

Melanie Melin has enjoyed selling vehicles for 3 years, although her interest in knowledge on vehicles has gone back way farther. Melanie was previously at Stettler GM in Alberta. Where she sold GM/Chev/Pontiac/Buick, commuting got to be too much, when she decided Honda was the best choice and joined our group here at Honda Red Deer. Previous to her new love of selling vehicles Melanie was a Personal trainer as well as a Dietary Technician for 10 years. Melanie has knowledge on the vehicle of your choice when you come in for a test drive. Although Melanie loves people and chatting with her customers she may think of making you do push ups or at the very least take a jog around the building if you choose to go elsewhere. The customer experience at Honda Red Deer really begins with Tamara Liebenberg. Tamara is the receptionist and she is responsible for a positive first impression for new customers at Honda Red Deer. Her staff nickname is "Smiley" and it is a big part of her cheerful approach to her job. It has been said that you only get one chance to make a good first impression, and this is a message that Tamara brings to work every day at Honda Red Deer. Tamara achieved the highly coveted award of "Employee of the Year" in 2010.

Joel Letwinetz is the newest member of the sales team but has had a vast variety of work experience, with a majority of them being in related to customer service. The last several have also been in the sales capacity, from Retail, vacuum cleaners, Boats and RV's and Life Insurance. All these have giving him the skills and knowledge in ascertaining complete customer satisfaction.
Including his love for selling the right vehicle to the right person for the right price, he also enjoys rocking out on his guitar, cooking and spending time with his best friend, (canine variety) Bryo, in which Honda named a car after in India. (Coincidence? I think not!)

Pete Vandermeer has 45 years in the automotive industry and is a veteran at Honda Red Deer. He has helped lead our service department for a total of 28 amazing years. A walking Honda Encyclopedia, he has become known within the industry as the go-to guy for diagnostics. Pete enjoys working on muscle cars and camping and is a friendly, approachable man who is always willing to go the extra mile for the customer and his team.

Scott moved to Red Deer from Calgary where he spent 27 years in the automotive industry. His experience comes from a variety of dealerships including Chrysler, Hyundai, Saturn and Toyota. Scott comes to us from Kal Tire where he spent 4 years and ended as a Store Manager in Calgary. A wealth of experience and knowledge has been acquired over the years and Scott is eager to assist the Service Customers of Honda Red Deer to ensure their vehicles are properly maintained and in the best possible condition for their driving enjoyment and the safety of their passengers. In his spare time, you will find him either golfing in the spring/summer or skiing in the winter.

Cordell Martens grew up locally in Rimbey, A.B. and comes from a family of five. He started out in the automotive detail industry by managing a local detailing shop. He then joined us at Honda Red Deer and has been a vital part of our team for eight years. Cordell has an amazing work ethic that has him going above and beyond his duties on a daily basis. He runs an excellent detailing team and also has great people skills. His team is an integral part of the success of Honda Red Deer.

Liz moved to Alberta in 2008 from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia and is a mom of 2 beautiful kids. Liz loves driving and working on cars, some say she is a tomboy, but Liz sais shes just a girl that doesn't mind getting her hands dirty or working with a shop full of men. She started working with Honda Red Deer in 2009 and is enjoying every minute of it.

Charlie is happily married with two grown sons and has lived in central Alberta all of his life. He has worked in the Distribution Business for the past 35 years, delivering everything from milk to nuts. He has been with Honda Red Deer for the past 2 years as our shuttle driver and was awarded Employee of the Year in 2009.

Steve Duffin has been a hard working employee here at Honda Red Deer off and on since 1975. All together he has been in the automotive industry for a total of 34 years. At home Steve has 3 wonderful children and he enjoys camping , hockey and drag racing. In his spare time, Steve is also a volunteer fire fighter as well as a medic and has been involved in that for 5 years. Steve spends long hours and works incredibly hard to ensure that the parts department runs smoothly. He is a dedicated team player who takes customer service to the highest level.

Pamela first became involved in employment placement with a personnel company that specialized in sales in the pharmaceutical and agriculture industries. This lead to a ten year stint with an agency dedicated to assisting deaf and hard of hearing adults find employment. Pam then worked at Employment Placement and Support Services before coming to Honda Red Deer. Finding the right person for the right job gives her enormous satisfaction and she enjoys the opportunity to meet the very diverse group of people who are interested in being a part of the Honda Red Deer team. A business is only as good as it's employees and she strives to find exceptional people interested in providing exceptional service. She is also the liaison between customers and staff to promote the dealership's high standards in customer satisfaction. A published author of fiction and non-fiction, Pam enjoys time at the lake, the occasional round of golf, encouraging her two children and traveling with her husband.

Terri, her husband and 2 grown children have lived in Red Deer since 1998, when they moved from Southern Alberta. Most of Terri's working years were spent in banking, but in 2003 she decided to try something new and began a career in the automotive industry. She has been in Honda Red Deer's administration department since March, 2007, assisting the Controller with the day to day operations of the dealership.
 
Terri enjoys cooking family meals on the weekends. She loves camping and riding ATV with family and friends. In her spare time, Terri enjoys a good book and working in her yard.

Melissa started in the automotive industry in 2008 as a receptionist at another dealership, then joined Honda Red Deer this year in 2010 as accounts receivable/accounts payable and loves it!, She loves the environment and the people as well as the work. When Melissa isn't at work she enjoys taking her three dogs for long walks, or chilling at home with a glass of wine and a movie. Since starting at Honda Melissa is learning more and more everyday, and looks forward to what the future will bring.
